x_cableWhen you've got a toddler attached to you like a limpet. Rachel sort of attached herself when they let me out of the Box this morning, and she hasn't really let go since.
Apologies to the other telepaths in the house for Rachel's outburst yesterday. Unfortunately she got to watch Dad having a bit of a powers problem and didn't take it well. I hope no one's got any lingering headaches today.
Moira's been peremptory and arranged for a vacation - shocking, I know. I mean the vacation, not my wife being peremptory. I think the last real vacation we took was our honeymoon. We're taking Rachel with us to Santorini for the week. I'm under orders to do nothing but rest and avoid psionic exertion, and strangely, Moira didn't think I was likely to do it here.
I think she's a pessimist.
