I'm firing my secretary. She's conspiring with my daughter. It's profoundly disturbing.
Speaking of my daughter, I will be packing up myself and her and going back to Tel Aviv tonight. My schedule's clear tomorrow, and I'll be back in time to teach on Monday, so no worries, my faithful and much-neglected Russian students. I do love you all, and you'll be just thrilled to know that I'm taking your quizzes with me to mark.
Although not on the plane. I believe I will be watching Rachel, on the plane. Yes, I am taking my flying offspring on commercial air. Pray for me, if you're so inclined.
Note to Elpis folk: Like I said, I'll be back on Monday. If anyone works over the weekend, I'll fire you. Out of love, but I can play Juliette's games and lock out the network too. Watch me. And when we get back on Monday, guys, we've got to talk. We've had invites to that conference at the UN this coming week, the one on Smichov, for a while now - I know it's been pretty much forgotten what with everything else going on, but we'll need at least a token presence.
And... Joel wants me to talk. Literally. There's a twenty-minute slot at one of the afternoon sessions that they've offered to us, and he wants me to be the one to take it. The idea scares the crap out of me.
