Note to self. Temporarily or not you are blind and so wandering around is really not such a good idea. Even if you are going very slightly stir-crazy.
So I was experimenting a little this afternoon and ran into the couch thing out in the third-floor hall. Fell over and lost my count. That would be my count of how many steps I was from the door. It's a good thing Bella was yodeling from the room. I should have just taken her with me. She'd probably be as good as a seeing eye dog.
I think I'll wait until I have a spotter before I try stairs. Sound like a plan?
