I have the attention span of a flea at the moment - I keep dozing off - but I thought I'd let it be known that I am not tethered to a bed. Or exiled to the couch - although I tend to suspect that the only reason I'm not is that Moira wants to keep a very close eye on me. Or possibly she's just taking pity on my poor much-abused back. Either way, it's better than I deserve.

I was going to explain what happened, but I can't focus. Short version? I actually belong to that club, the one that you belong to around here if you have supervillains in the family. Or had. Because I don't anymore. And no, I didn't go running off to pull a lone wolf stunt and duke it out with my evil uncle. I actually ran off so that Askani could duke it out with my evil uncle. Or at least make his brain go boom. It's all very complicated and hurts my brain to think about and involves cause and effect not being in the right order.

And yes, I know she's dead. But it wouldn't be the first time, right? Except this was definitely the last time. I'm not sure how I feel about that just yet.

It got a little rougher than I thought it would, hence the lying around and sleeping lots. This is where I point out I'm a professional lunatic, kids, so you really shouldn't try this at home. Or anywhere else. Not that I plan to try it again, ever, because I've been blown up enough. It gets tedious.

So, yeah, that's about the sum of it. Although some would say I'm on a campaign to have the crappiest birthday possible so I went with kidnapping this year. Well, it's a milestone year, isn't it...

Yes, I even managed to walk away under my own power. Except for when I fell over because I'd forgotten my uncle gave me an early birthday brainwashing present and I wasn't supposed to leave without his permission.
