Summer course...

I've finally decided and written up a syllabus, so now I'm letting you all know; I'll be offering an African history course this summer. Consider this yet another example of me trying to get you all to realize that there is a world out there beyond North America and Western Europe.

Here's hoping that my streak of bad luck will end and I'll be able to run this course without getting kidnapped, brainwashed, blinded in weird powers accidents, or otherwise mutilated.

I'm going to be sorry I said that, I just know it...

I'll have to endeavor not to focus too much on Central Africa. Even if that's where I've spent the majority of my time in Africa.

Western and Northern Africa is where the real action is. Well, there and South Africa.
