I hate those situations that become more unsavory the more you look into them. The German politician causing problems for some colleagues of Elpis in Berlin is rather virulently anti-mutant. Typical neo-fascist type, just with a twist!

I suppose it's wrong to hope he gets hit by a bus.

I've been working with teenagers too long - the comment made perfect sense to me.

To translate for the (oh-so-lucky) Teen Movie Impaired, in the movie in question, a girl is hit by a bus and survives, and even goes to her prom in a neck brace and ball gown.

Given she's the 'bad guy' in the piece, more or less, and the incident leads to everybody becoming less outright vicious to everybody else, It's definitely the closest thing to heartwarming you're going to find in your average teen movie.

The only good thing about fascists is the ease at which you can find ways to turn their own rhetoric against them. Of course, it's a lot easier when you're on equal footing, and not a foreign NGO dealing with an established political figure.
