This is ridiculous...
Oct. 30th, 2006 11:29 am...but I think we're actually packing more food supplies than camera gear for Prague. I just got back from town with what I would call a decent range of freeze-dried and dehydrated food, plus some of the fun self-heating stuff because I suspect it's a toss-up as to whether or not Smichov has power. We're taking one of our 'can drop a bomb on them without doing them damage' laptops, but multiple battery packs. Plus a couple of the satellite phones. So we shouldn't be out of contact at any point even if the lights and the phones are off inside the security barrier.
I checked the long-range forecast for Prague. We're looking at rain and snow this week.
