1) There's not a thing wrong with my telepathy. My shields are stable (after the initial wobbliness) and my range is precisely what it should be.
2) I also haven't had a single headache since Saturday. (Which is a very, very nice change.)
3) I have lifted everything I could lift before (short of the Blackbird, because Scott told me no, the party-pooper) with no trouble. I have also juggled heavy things for long periods until Moira and I were both satisfied that my endurance hadn't appreciably suffered.
4) When it comes to splitting my telekinetic focus, I'm not back to where I was. Mr. Multitasking is now Mr. Sort-of-Halfassedly-Multitasking by pre-San Diego standards. I'm a good 30% short of where I was, actually. We will be fixing that, oh yes. Those numbers will look right if I have to drill myself into insensibility.
5) I can not seem to properly manipulate anything I can't see, and Charles thinks that's probably permanent. In terms of things to lose, I find I can bid farewell to accidentally lighting the air on fire and turning things to glass with a good spirit. Farewell, molecular-level TK, I never liked you much anyway. You tended to hurt my brain.
6) I am now completely unable to use my TK for anything else while I'm in my exoskeleton. On the bright side, the exoskeleton's somewhat tougher than it was before. Not enormously, but by about 15% according to Moira's tests. I figure that's a fair trade-off.
The verdict is that I'm as healed as I'm going to get. I have a head full of new psionic scarring - like I needed more, I know - and I'm out of shape, psionically speaking, but some of these changes are permanent. I have lost some function, but I think I sacrificed it in a good cause.
Besides. I can still officially kick just about anyone's ass. And yes, that is a challenge - I need some Danger Room time rather badly.

You're _on_, carebear.
Betcha a case of beer I can put some hurt on you through your bird-thing.

a) You'd actually have to be able to get near my bird-thing to do that.
b) Feel free to stop by once Lorna and I are done - the lady has dibs. I mean, ordinarily you'd make a perfectly good warm-up...

Like nothin' better than to put some hurt on her, too, but she cheats worse than you do.
Fucking magnetism.
So we got a case on the line?

You DO realize that telekinesis usually trumps magnetism by dint of utilitarianism, right?
Hey, Mr. D? How DOES a telekinetic deal with folks without the power to affect folks at a distance? Just dangle them in the air by a foot or something? Lord knows I've been tempted to do that to Kyle a few times if I could.
Oh, and once your brilliant wife sends your medical clearance my way, you can have your stick back.

Either that or I throw a car at them. Cars usually work nicely.
My stick... you know, I bet Moira forbids me the stick until I get those numbers back where they should be without it. It would be just like her.

HEY. Telekinetic schmlekinetic, I'm not the one throwing out how many people's asses I can kick. Dangle the people with the bragging, not the guy who knows better.

a) Not bragging.
b) TK lets one kick lots of ass in a completely non-lethal and often without doing any lasting damage at all to the people getting kicked. Therefore, the more I can do of that, the better.

The carebear can wait. I've been waiting for this one for a long time now.
Claws stay in, magnets stay off. Just you and me in the ring.

I said mutations. Talk about cheating, healing factors are like the 'I'm not left handed either' of mutations.

Doesn't come with an off-switch.
I can't not heal.
Point-spar, then. Doesn't matter if I heal or not, all that matters is who hits the other person more.

See, here I ain't going to be all macho challenging. Since I already figured out in the tussle with Marie that folks like me and the runt can't do a damn thing to someone who flies.
Want to put some bets on how long it takes him to figure that out?

It's all about the environment and using it. After all, since he can't use teek through the bird, if he wants to put any hurt on me he's got to come down to my level to do it.

TK ain't the only weapon he's got. Pay attention in the field more instead of stabbing your teammates and you might learn a thing or two, runt.
