Damn it.

How I love snags. They add such spice to life. Especially when it's misplaced paperwork.

You know, it struck me that most of you don't know precisely why I've been scarce lately and what I've been up to. To be succinct, I recently inherited a very large amount of money and decided that the best thing to do with it was take a more formal approach to the work Angelo and I have been doing this past year. By formal, incidentally, I mean 'founding and funding a non-profit organization'. Hence the disgusting amounts of paperwork.

It's going to do the same sort of thing that Angelo and I have been doing all along, looking into mutant issues in the developing world. Legal problems, crisis relief, that sort of thing. We'll have an office here, because I need to be close to the UN, but the main office is going to be in Tel Aviv, where a number of my friends have decided they're going to try this whole 'legal job' concept on for size. When it comes to the office here, Bobby's going to be doing a little more than filing for me, and Rahne has graciously agreed to lend a little gender balance to our merry band.

I'm not sure how this will all work out - I don't intend to either not teach or cut back on my "other responsibilities" here, so I may simply have to discover how to make there be 36 hours in the day. (Joke. Really.)

Oh, and the name I've picked is Elpis. It's from Greek mythology - Elpis was the only spirit that stayed in Pandora's box. Yes, I know it's cheesy. I'm feeling cheesy this month.
