There's no two ways around it. I seem to remember days when I could fall off a wall, get right back up, blow several more things up, then drink until dawn with little to no ill effects. Then get four hours of sleep and do it all over again.

Now I'm a walking advertisement for 'it always hurts worse in the morning'.

Thankfully my loyal minions were good enough to run work upstairs for me this afternoon when they realized I indeed wasn't emerging. So I only feel lazy, rather than completely unproductive. The painkillers are nice, but apparently they make it so that I can't be allowed to write any emails of importance today without them being vetted before sending. And I dozed off earlier and someone took my phone. You'd think certain people were worrying about drugs making me undiplomatic or something.

Okay. More undiplomatic.
