Hello from Nicaragua.

x_cableAnd goodbye to Nicaragua in... four hours, before we need to be back at the airport.
It's been a productive twenty-four hours. We got things started, at least, although the situation's going to need some continuing attention. (Well, duh, as it's a long-term project.) The church is rather nice. Rahne approves of the kitchen. Politicians suck - or some of them do, at least. Others are quite nice (and telepathic). I felt like going back to the first asshole and saying "Look, we're everywhere!" But that would have made things difficult for Ms. Leal, and given that she's going to be doing her best to smooth things over for the shelter, I don't want to do that.
Speaking of Rahne, I'm taking her and Angelo out to see a little of Managua, since we've got some free time. Not that it's such a great tourist city - it was destroyed by an earthquake in '72, incidentally - but there are a few sights worth seeing. And I promised I'd get coffee, didn't I?

I don't care who says what, I've never BEEN to Managua, it's not my fault.

Want some coffee, by the way? Apparently Nicaraguan coffee's the new Good Stuff.
