I'm not sure whose it is, but it was just lying around down here, so I stole it. I'll put it back!

I unfortunately can't quite manage to focus on the screen here, so I'll have to be quick. History, humanities, international studies, and geography students... you all have nice written assignments you can be working on until the beginning of next week. Which means that when I ask you for research progress reports, I expect to hear about significant amounts of progress. Hindi folks, just keep reading - we'll do a double session on Tuesday to make up for me missing Tuesday's. And all of my little culinary geniuses, we'll do something extra-special next week. Promise.

And just to clear up any rumors that are going around? Yes, I did most decidedly sprain my brain, although the crater wasn't actually all my fault. I'm open to any and all jokes at my expense on that score, though; headache or not, I am in entirely too good a mood. The sky could fall on me and that still wouldn't dent it.

Stuff needed to be done. I modified some of the gurneys with reactive shock absorbers to cancel out the vibrations that you get from pushing them. Nothing big, really, but Doctor Bartlet tells me that it can really make things easier on head injuries.

If it's not too much trouble, when you're up and about, I'd like to ask you a few questions about some of the stuff that you told me about earlier, some of the stuff you and Kyle have in common - whenever you've got the time.

If it helps matters any, Nathan, I and Doug are no longer allowed to bet on anything because Kitty adjusts the odds so that it is barely worth it. :)

... Perhaps that does -not- actaully help. But I am glad you are awake and .. well, awake. I suppose 'well' is not entirely accurate, yes?

It was only the -once- that I was unerringly accurate on the betting. I think it is more that my boyfriend has this vexing genius math ability that he uses to win at poker.

There's no profit in giving him and odds spread, because he just calculates his way through to win-win situations. How he manages to do that after I've calculated my way in to win-win situations is beyond me, but he's good.

Am still willing to give you a cut, though, for anything you can give me a heads up on how to lay the odds...

I maintain that my genius math ability matches his where it does not run into his mutant power. Alas for him and his damned pattern recognition. And the poker thing has to be his lie detector added. Just being able to count cards does not make you that good. I should know.

This is very, very true. Should it ever strike your fancy, I suspect we could make a killing at Vegas.
