So...
Is this where I wander up and down the halls with my bird on my shoulder woefully singing 'Leaving On A Jet Plane'?
Temporary bachelorhood. Bah.
I did get to give the security guy harassing her at the metal detector a telekinetic wedgie, though. Whee.

Perhaps you should try to enjoy the benefits. *g* Leaving the toilet seat up, drinking out of the carton, grunting, failing to bathe, scratching when and where you please, watching sporting events on the television, staying out drinking with your buddies (if none are immediately available, perhaps you and I could take Cain a beer or something, I'm sure he misses it), reading girly magazines....
I'm sure Moira will enjoy the challenge of re-civilizing you when she returns. *g*

Why, Hank. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were trying to get me into trouble.

You mean the nice, ordinary kind of trouble that Moira can fuss over without being worried about you? Where she can scold you for something entirely unrelated to your health, and then you two can kiss and make up without any lingering fretting on either side?
Would I do that?

You're forgetting the Evil Hormones. The kissing and making up doesn't do me much good if she kills me first.

I think the relief that you're doing something *normal*... even if it's an annoying normal thing... would help to counteract the evil hormones. In my admittedly less than all-encompassing experience of women, if they've been worrying about you, they like to be able to scold you for something. Preferably something small and foolish on your part, for which you will be terribly apologetic and not do again, thus giving them a solid victory over your male stupidity.
Besides, I'm sure Cain would agree that one beer won't hurt him. And we could find the remote for him while we're there.

It's a strange sort of logic, but I like it.
So. Beer and remote-hunting?

Thanks, guys. At least it was good old-fashioned American beer. I'm not sure WHERE mine has vanished too out of the fridge, but whoever keeps replacing it with that roofing tar that the Brits are fond of is going to catch hell once I'm mobile.

Think of it as motivational therapy. *innocent* The sooner you're mobile, the sooner you can give that bad, nasty person hell.
And American beer is like having sex in a rowboat.

And hey, at least it's only a couple weeks and you're (probably) not gonna get kidnapped to an alternate dimension for three extra months in the middle?

If I get kidnapped to an alternate dimension, there will be much blowing up of said alternate dimension.

And somehow I'm not seeing anybody blaming you.
Just don't go pissing off any gods, or being within easy avenging distance of somebody who did, and you should be OK.

I think this is good advice for all the time, not only when your girlfriend/fiancee is far far away.

The divine (of any variety) and I are not on good terms. I have a nearly lifelong habit of very scrupulously keeping my distance.

If it's Asgard, take me and don't blow up any wolves? It's not their fault. (Hrimhari doesn't do interdimensional portals. I asked.)

If I had a chance to go to Asgard and take you back to see Hrimhari, Rahne... well, that's one alternate-dimension trip I probably would take.

It depends - is it you or Bella singing? Bella we can handle - she didn't mangle REM terribly much... ;)

And don't you go experimenting, young lady.
At least not until you and I have had a discussion of proper technique.
