I swear, every e-mail I sent, every phone call I made - all completely fruitless. There are just some weeks when nothing you try to do works and no one will listen to you. Even if you stay perfectly diplomatic and polite. I'm starting to wonder if that's why no one's listening to me this week. Too much reason, logic, and moderation. I need to start yelling again, I swear.

I think I'm going to do something highly uncharacteristic and take off for the weekend. Moira's stuck on Muir with a difficult case, so I think I'll throw my gear in the car and go spend a couple of days climbing. The weather's supposed to hold.
