Hello from Keene Valley....

Just posting to let you all know that we arrived safely, the lodge did not lose our reservations, and one of my new rules for long drives will be "I have total control over the radio/CD player, and dissenters will be riding home on the roof". (Had to get that out, sorry.)

Most of the kids are still eating lunch - I told them to eat up, because they're going to need the fuel for the ice climbing lesson this afternoon. Afterwards, if the instructors and I don't successfully manage to wear them out, I may let them explore the village a little. There are cute little shops and the like. And the whole village is so tiny that I can keep track of them easily.

He's not much of a singer. Maybe he should try singing instead of screaming all the time.

It's just that kind of music. It's supposed to be angry and stuff. Not everybody likes it. Though, seriously, don't listen to anything Forge likes. His stuff is even more ... yeah. Just don't.

I vote for singing rather than screaming. Music should be just that, music. Musical, melodious... I understand that people like to listen to what amounts to harsh sounds and screaming, and that is fine, but everyone should not be forced to be subjected to such sounds.

Rollins can still be vaguely considered music.

Forge, on the other hand, listens to the Inquisition set to car crashes.

Rollins has a band. And they play music. He just can't sing. Sorta.

I don't know what Forge listens to, but usually it sounds a lot like the same noises he makes when he's building something. Coincidence? I THINK NO.
